WiseTab Terms & Conditions

Welcome to WiseTab (“WiseTab,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the WiseTab mobile application, website, subscriptions, content, and related services.
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using WiseTab, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age required in your country or region, to use WiseTab.
If you are under the age of legal majority in your country, you may only use WiseTab with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Description of the Service
WiseTab is an AI-powered travel discovery application that helps users find and learn about nearby places, including:
- Historical landmarks
- Museums
- Castles
- Churches
- Monuments
- Scenic viewpoints
- Hidden gems
- Restaurants
- Traditional cafés
- Cultural attractions
- Local food and traditions
WiseTab may provide AI-generated stories, historical information, travel suggestions, location-based recommendations, audio content, maps, opening information, ratings, and other travel-related content.
WiseTab is provided for general informational, educational, and entertainment purposes.
3. User Accounts
Some WiseTab features may require the creation of an account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and current account information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
- Protecting access to your device and account.
- All activities performed through your account.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or create security risks.
4. Location Services
WiseTab may request access to your device’s approximate or precise location to provide nearby recommendations and location-based features.
Location access is only used when you provide permission through your device settings.
You may disable location access at any time. However, disabling location services may prevent some WiseTab features from working correctly.
Location information may be supplied by your device, mapping providers, or other third-party services. We do not guarantee that location information will always be complete or accurate.
5. AI-Generated Content
WiseTab uses artificial intelligence to create or assist with content such as:
- Historical summaries
- Local stories
- Place descriptions
- Travel recommendations
- Suggested itineraries
- Cultural information
- Audio narration
- Food and restaurant information
AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or inaccurate interpretations.
WiseTab does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or currentness of AI-generated content.
You should independently verify important information before travelling or making a decision, including:
- Opening and closing hours
- Admission prices
- Booking requirements
- Accessibility
- Transport availability
- Weather conditions
- Travel restrictions
- Local laws
- Safety information
- Dietary or allergy information
You remain responsible for your own travel decisions and actions.
6. Maps, Directions and Nearby Places
WiseTab may display maps, distances, estimated travel times, directions, and nearby place information supplied by third-party providers.
These results may be approximate and may not reflect road closures, access restrictions, private property, temporary closures, dangerous routes, construction, weather conditions, or other real-world circumstances.
Always follow official signs, local guidance, and applicable laws. Do not enter private, restricted, unsafe, or prohibited areas based solely on information displayed by WiseTab.
7. WiseTab Premium Subscription
WiseTab may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to Premium features and content.
Premium features may include:
- Unlimited place discoveries
- AI-generated stories
- Audio guides
- Advanced recommendations
- Premium filters
- Saved discoveries
- Personalised travel features
- Additional or future Premium content
The exact features included in a subscription will be displayed within the app before purchase.
Subscription prices, billing periods, and available plans may vary by country, platform, currency, and applicable taxes.
8. No Free Trial
WiseTab does not currently offer a free trial.
Your selected subscription will be charged when the purchase is confirmed.
The subscription price and billing period will be clearly displayed before you complete the purchase.
9. Automatic Renewal
WiseTab subscriptions purchased through Apple are auto-renewable.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account when the purchase is confirmed.
Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Renewal will be charged at the price displayed for your subscription unless Apple informs you of a price change in accordance with its applicable rules.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings.
Deleting WiseTab or deleting your WiseTab account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.
10. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple account subscription settings.
Cancellation prevents the subscription from renewing for the next billing period.
After cancellation, you may continue using Premium features until the end of the subscription period that has already been paid for.
We cannot directly cancel an Apple subscription on your behalf because subscription billing and management are controlled by Apple.
11. Payments and Refunds
Payments for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple’s payment terms.
WiseTab does not directly process, approve, reject, or issue refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store.
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once charged, except where a refund is approved by Apple or required under applicable law.
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. Refund eligibility and decisions are determined by Apple.
Cancelling a subscription does not normally provide a refund for the current billing period. Cancellation prevents future renewals while allowing access until the end of the already-paid subscription period.
Users seeking a refund for an Apple App Store purchase must submit the request directly to Apple through Apple’s official refund process.
12. Changes to Subscription Features or Prices
We may add, remove, update, or modify Premium features as WiseTab develops.
We may also change subscription prices where permitted. Any price changes will be managed and communicated in accordance with the applicable App Store requirements.
A material reduction in paid services will not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
13. Third-Party Services and Content
WiseTab may use or display content from third-party services, including:
- Mapping providers
- Geolocation providers
- Artificial intelligence providers
- Weather providers
- Place-information providers
- Rating and review providers
- Payment platforms
- Analytics services
- Cloud hosting providers
- Text-to-speech and audio providers
Third-party content may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or outdated.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, businesses, services, availability, prices, ratings, bookings, policies, or content.
Your interaction with a third-party business or service is governed by that third party’s own terms and policies.
14. Restaurants, Food and Allergy Information
WiseTab may display information about restaurants, cafés, local dishes, ingredients, and food recommendations.
This information is not medical, dietary, or allergy advice.
You must verify ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, food safety, and dietary suitability directly with the relevant restaurant or food provider.
WiseTab is not responsible for allergic reactions, dietary issues, food quality, or other consequences arising from reliance on food information displayed in the app.
15. Weather and Safety Information
Weather, travel, and safety information may change rapidly.
WiseTab does not guarantee the accuracy or availability of weather forecasts, warnings, travel alerts, emergency information, or safety recommendations.
In urgent or dangerous situations, rely on official authorities, emergency services, local warnings, and recognised weather services.
WiseTab is not an emergency service.
16. Intellectual Property
WiseTab and its associated software, design, branding, logos, icons, graphics, text, databases, audio, features, interfaces, and original content are owned by or licensed to MICROLAB EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED.
They are protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use WiseTab for lawful, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy or redistribute WiseTab content without permission.
- Sell or commercially exploit WiseTab content.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
- Scrape or automatically collect WiseTab data.
- Remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices.
- Create a competing database using WiseTab content.
- Use WiseTab’s branding without written permission.
- Circumvent subscription, access, or security controls.
17. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use WiseTab for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Overload or disrupt our servers.
- Use bots, crawlers, or scraping tools without written permission.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Infringe the rights of another person.
- Use the Service in a manner that could cause harm to WiseTab, its users, or third parties.
18. Service Availability
We aim to keep WiseTab available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The Service may be temporarily unavailable because of:
- Maintenance
- Updates
- Technical failures
- Network issues
- Third-party service outages
- Security incidents
- Events outside our reasonable control
We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of WiseTab where reasonably necessary.
19. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to WiseTab if you:
- Breach these Terms.
- Misuse the Service.
- Create a security or legal risk.
- Engage in fraudulent activity.
- Attempt to avoid payment or subscription controls.
- Use WiseTab in a way that harms other users or third parties.
You may stop using WiseTab at any time.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple. You must separately cancel the subscription through your Apple account settings.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WiseTab is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- All information will be accurate or complete.
- Every location will be open, accessible, or safe.
- Recommendations will be suitable for every user.
- The Service will always be available.
- The Service will be free from errors or interruptions.
- AI-generated content will always be correct.
- Third-party information will remain current.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MICROLAB EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, WiseTab, and their directors, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from your use of WiseTab.
This may include loss arising from:
- Reliance on inaccurate information.
- Travel decisions.
- Missed bookings.
- Closed or unavailable locations.
- Lost data.
- Third-party services.
- Unsafe routes or locations.
- Food, dietary, or allergy information.
- Service interruptions.
- Unauthorised account access.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where liability cannot legally be limited, including rights available under applicable consumer protection law.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MICROLAB EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED from claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs resulting from:
- Your unlawful use of WiseTab.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your infringement of another person’s rights.
- Content or information you submit through the Service.
23. Privacy
Your use of WiseTab is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information, including location and account information.

24. Apple-Specific Terms
For WiseTab downloaded through the Apple App Store:
- These Terms are between you and MICROLAB EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, not Apple.
- Apple is not responsible for providing the WiseTab Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for WiseTab.
- Apple is not responsible for claims relating to WiseTab, except where required by law.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable licence terms.
- Your use of WiseTab must comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
- Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies unless a valid custom EULA has been provided.

25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to WiseTab, legal requirements, subscriptions, or business practices.
The updated version will be published with a revised effective date.
Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of WiseTab after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
26. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence.
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, you retain the rights available to you under applicable law.
27. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
28. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and applicable Apple terms, constitute the agreement between you and MICROLAB EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY LIMITED regarding your use of WiseTab.
