These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Wise Tab mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using Wise Tab, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
- The Service
Wise Tab helps users discover nearby places, view maps and directions, read place stories, listen to audio narrations, save favorites, keep discovery history, and share content.
Features may change, be added, or be discontinued over time. Some features may require an account, internet access, or device permissions such as location.
- Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Wise Tab. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
- Accounts
You may need to register with information such as name, email, country, and password.
You agree to: • Provide accurate information • Keep your password confidential • Be responsible for activity under your account • Notify us promptly of unauthorized use
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or abuse risk.
- Permissions
Wise Tab may request access to: • Location — to discover nearby places, show your position, and provide directions • Photo library — only when needed for sharing or saving content you choose
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Denying permissions may limit related features.
- Acceptable use
You agree not to: • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or our systems without authorization • Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service except as allowed by law • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation • Use the Service to harass others or distribute malware • Abuse AI, narration, maps, or discovery features in ways that harm the Service or other users
We may investigate and take action, including suspending access, for violations.
- Content and intellectual property
6.1 Our content
The Service, including software, branding, design, and original content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Wise Tab for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
6.2 Place and third-party content
Place information, maps, images, directions, and related data may come from third-party sources (for example maps and places providers). That content may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Always use your own judgment when traveling and follow local laws and safety guidance.
6.3 Your content and feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to improve the Service. You retain ownership of content you create, subject to the rights needed to operate features you use (for example storing favorites or syncing discovery sessions).
- Sharing
If you share place content via the device share sheet, you choose the destination. We are not responsible for how third-party apps handle shared content.
- AI and audio narration
Some features use automated systems (including AI and text-to-speech) to generate descriptions or audio. Generated content may contain errors or omissions. It is provided for informational and entertainment purposes and is not professional advice (travel, legal, medical, or otherwise).
- Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that: • Discovery results, place details, hours, prices, ratings, or directions are always accurate or complete • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free • Maps or location features will work in all areas or network conditions
You are solely responsible for your safety while traveling.
- Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
- Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Wise Tab Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you also acknowledge that Policy.
- Termination
You may stop using Wise Tab at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
- App Store terms
If you downloaded Wise Tab from Apple’s App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the applicable store terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for providing support or warranties for Wise Tab beyond what their store rules require. For iOS, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your license to use the iOS app.
- Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and may post notice on https://wisetab.online or in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
- Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Wise Tab operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.
